TRAI Assesses Network Quality in Leh and Surrounding Areas
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) conducted an Independent Drive Test (IDT) in June 2025 to evaluate mobile network performance in Leh City and along key highway routes. The tests assessed voice and data services across various technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G) and included parameters like Call Setup Success Rate, Drop Call Rate, and data throughput. Results showed varying performance among service providers, with Airtel leading in most metrics. The findings aim to enhance mobile connectivity in the region.
