TRAI Assesses Network Quality in Ludhiana

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) conducted an Independent Drive Test (IDT) in Ludhiana, Punjab, from September 8 to 11, 2025, to evaluate mobile network performance across various environments. The tests covered 280.8 km of city routes and assessed voice and data services, including Call Setup Success Rate (CSSR), Drop Call Rate (DCR), and data speeds for 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies. Key findings showed Airtel leading in both voice and data performance, while BSNL lagged significantly in data speeds. The report is available on the TRAI website.
