TRAI Assesses Network Quality in Mangaluru

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) conducted an Independent Drive Test (IDT) in Mangaluru, Karnataka, assessing mobile network performance across various environments. The tests, carried out from July 7 to July 11, 2025, covered 313.2 km of city routes, coastal areas, and hotspots, evaluating technologies from 2G to 5G. Key findings include high call setup success rates for Airtel (99.83%) and RJIL (99.66%), while data download speeds varied significantly, with RJIL achieving 223.80 Mbps.
