TRAI Assesses Network Quality in Pune

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) conducted an Independent Drive Test (IDT) in Pune, assessing mobile network performance across various environments. The tests, covering 415.5 km, evaluated 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G services. Key findings include call setup success rates, drop call rates, and data speeds for major telecom operators. Airtel showed the highest performance in both voice and data services, while BSNL lagged significantly in data speeds. The report is available on the TRAI website.
