TRAI Completes Comprehensive Mobile Network Quality Assessment

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has conducted an Independent Drive Test (IDT) to evaluate the quality of mobile network services provided by Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) in Palampur City and the Chandigarh to Palampur Highway Route. Conducted in March 2026, the test measured key Quality of Service (QoS) parameters such as Coverage, Call Drop Rate (CDR), Call Setup Success Rate (CSSR), and data throughput across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks. The results were aimed at informing consumers and encouraging TSPs to enhance their service quality."
