TRAI Evaluates Mobile Network Quality Across Mumbai

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) conducted Independent Drive Tests (IDT) in Mumbai during November 2025 to evaluate mobile network quality over multiple environments. Covering a total of 320.2 kms, tests assessed voice and data services provided by Airtel, MTNL, RJIL, and VIL using 2G to 5G technologies. Findings noted high call setup success rates and diverse data performance, highlighting the peak download speed of RJIL at 221.34 Mbps.
