TRAI Evaluates Mobile Network Quality in Roorkee and UP (West) LSA

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released the findings of Independent Drive Tests (IDT) conducted in Roorkee City and its surrounding areas in UP (West) during October 2025. The tests, designed to assess the real-world performance across various network technologies such as 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G, evaluated key parameters including call setup success rate, drop call rate, and data throughput. Airtel, BSNL, RJIL, and VIL were notable service providers included in the study. The detailed test results will guide network improvements by the telecom operators.
