TRAI Evaluates Network Performance in Andhra Pradesh's Eluru City

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) conducted independent drive tests in Eluru City, Andhra Pradesh, in November 2025 to assess mobile network performance across various technologies, including 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G. The tests measured key parameters such as call setup success rate, drop call rate, data download and upload speeds, latency, and speech quality. The analysis revealed a high call setup success rate and low drop call rate across multiple telecom service providers, with Jio delivering the highest data download speeds in both 5G and 4G technologies. This comprehensive assessment covered several significant urban and rural zones and institutional hotspots in the region.
