TRAI Evaluates Telecom Network Quality in Kolkata

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released findings from its Independent Drive Test assessing telecom network performance in Kolkata Telecom district and parts of North and South 24 Parganas. Conducted over five days in November 2025, the tests evaluated 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies on various parameters, showcasing strong call setup success rates for providers like RJIL and Airtel. The test covered numerous urban and hotspot locations, measuring voice and data service quality metrics across the service area.
