TRAI Releases Consultation Paper on Microwave Spectrum Assignment

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has published a Consultation Paper regarding the assignment of Microwave Spectrum across various frequency bands including 6 GHz, 7 GHz, 13 GHz, 15 GHz, 18 GHz, 21 GHz, E-Band, and V-Band. This follows a request from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) for recommendations on spectrum assignment methodologies and related terms. Stakeholders are invited to submit comments by June 25, 2024, and counter-comments by July 9, 2024.
