TRAI Releases Consultation Paper on Vehicle-to-Everything Communication Framework

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has issued a consultation paper seeking feedback on the regulatory framework for Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication. The paper is available on the TRAI website and stakeholders are invited to submit their comments by May 28, 2026. This initiative is part of a request by the Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communication, Government of India, to develop regulations under the TRAI Act 1997 for V2X communication systems.
