The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) conducted a comprehensive independent drive test in the Nasik Licensed Service Area, revealing varied mobile network performance by service providers Airtel, BSNL, RJIL, and VIL. Conducted over 487.2 kilometers, the test assessed voice and data services, including call setup success rates and download speeds across 2G to 5G networks. The findings were shared with telecom service providers for necessary improvements.
