TRAI Releases New Audit Manual for Digital Addressable Systems

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has released the Telecommunication (Broadcasting and Cable) Services Digital Addressable Systems Audit Manual, 2026. The manual aims to improve audit processes by addressing stakeholder concerns, such as repetitive audits and accountability. It has been finalized following a consultation process with stakeholders and will come into effect on April 1, 2026.
