TRAI Responds to DoT on Spectrum Assignment for Indian Railways

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has responded to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) regarding its recommendations on the assignment of additional spectrum to Indian Railways for safety and security applications. This follows a request from Indian Railways for an additional 5 MHz of paired spectrum in the 700 MHz band, which was initially referred to TRAI by DoT.
