Transfer of Government Records to National Archives
On October 14, 2025, the Government of India prepared 1,936 volumes of the Gazette of India and 72 volumes of State Acts for transfer to the National Archives of India as part of Special Campaign 5.0. This initiative aims to enhance archival management and ensure the preservation and accessibility of important government records. The process was supervised by Shri R.K. Pattanayak and involved staff from the Legislative Department, emphasizing the government's commitment to digitization and modernization of archival records.
