Tributes Paid to Dr. Bal Ram Jakhar on His Birth Anniversary

On his birth anniversary, Dr. Bal Ram Jakhar, former Speaker of the Lok Sabha, was honored in the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan. Key figures including the Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha and Members of Parliament paid their respects. Dr. Jakhar served as Speaker from 1980 to 1989 and was the only Speaker to preside over two full terms. He also held the position of Union Minister of Agriculture from 1991 to 1996. His portrait was unveiled by former President Pranab Mukherjee in 2014.
