TSDSI Hosts 3GPP Meetings in Goa to Shape Future Telecom Standards

The Telecommunications Standards Development Society, India (TSDSI), with support from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), successfully hosted the Service and System Aspects (SA) and Core Network and Terminals (CT) Working Group meetings of the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) in Goa. The meetings included discussions on 5G-Advanced specifications and initiated 6G studies, involving around 700 delegates from nearly 50 countries. Hosting these meetings in India underscores the nation's growing influence in the global telecommunications arena and provides a platform for Indian innovators to contribute directly to international standards development.
