UIDAI Enhances Biometric Update Adoption for Children
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has partnered with Behavioural Insights Ltd to promote the Mandatory Biometric Update (MBU) for children aged 5 to 15. Following the waiver of all charges for MBU, the initiative aims to address barriers to adoption through tailored behavioral interventions, ensuring children can access essential services linked to their Aadhaar. The MoU was signed to enhance awareness and facilitate timely updates, benefiting around 6 crore children.
