UIDAI Launches SITAA for Enhanced Digital Identity Security
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has introduced the Scheme for Innovation and Technology Association with Aadhaar (SITAA) to foster collaboration among startups, academia, and industry in enhancing digital identity security. The initiative aims to develop advanced biometric technologies and solutions to combat deepfakes, spoofing, and other security threats. Applications for various challenges under SITAA are open until November 15, 2025, inviting innovative solutions for face liveness detection, presentation attack detection, and contactless fingerprint authentication.
