UIDAI Reports 221 Crore Aadhaar Authentication Transactions in August 2025

In August 2025, UIDAI recorded over 221 crore Aadhaar authentication transactions, marking a 10.3% increase from August 2024. The rise in transactions highlights the growing utility of Aadhaar in facilitating welfare delivery and services. Face authentication transactions also surged to 18.6 crore, up from 6.04 crore the previous year, with a record of over 1.5 crore transactions in a single day on September 1, 2025. The e-KYC service also saw 38.53 crore transactions, enhancing customer experience in various sectors.
