UIDAI Urges Schools to Facilitate Timely Aadhaar Biometric Updates for Children

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has called on schools across India to ensure timely Mandatory Biometric Updates (MBU) for children aged 5 to 15 years. In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, UIDAI aims to address the pending MBU for approximately 17 crore children by organizing camps in schools. This initiative is crucial for maintaining accurate biometric data, which is essential for accessing government benefits and participating in competitive exams. The UDISE+ platform will help schools track pending updates effectively.
