UMANG: Revolutionizing Citizen Access to Government Services
The Ministry of Electronics & IT has reported that the UMANG platform now provides access to 2,446 services from 240 government departments, supporting the Digital India initiative. The platform, evaluated positively by the Indian Institute of Public Administration, enhances citizen access to government services by facilitating a multilingual, digital interface, thereby reducing reliance on physical interfaces.
