Union Budget 2026-2027 Enhances IT Services Safe Harbour Threshold to Rs 2000 Crore

In presenting the Union Budget 2026-2027, the Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Smt Nirmala Sitharaman, announced the enhancement of the safe harbour threshold for IT services from Rs 300 crore to Rs 2000 crore. The process for availing safe harbour will be automated, and the same can be continued for 5 years. Additionally, a fast-track Advance Pricing Agreement process is introduced for IT services.
