Union Cabinet Approves New Multi-State Cooperative Societies
The Union Cabinet has approved the establishment of two national-level multi-state cooperative societies under the Ministry of Cooperation: National Cooperative Exports Limited (NCEL) and National Cooperative Organics Limited (NCOL). NCEL aims to facilitate export activities of surplus goods and services from cooperative societies across India, while NCOL focuses on promoting organic products. Additionally, Bharatiya Beej Sahkari Samiti Limited (BBSSL) has been formed to enhance the production and supply of quality seeds through collaboration with various state governments and organizations.
