Union Environment Minister Shri Bhupender Yadav chaired the 90th meeting of the Standing Committee of the National Board for Wildlife in Dehradun. The meeting addressed a range of topics such as conservation of riverine species in the River Chambal, grasslands and rangelands, and the ecological needs of nomadic communities. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed to enhance the use of AI and remote sensing in wildlife and forest fire management.
