Union Government Releases XV Finance Commission Grants for Goa

The Union Government has issued XV Finance Commission Grants for the FY 2025–26 to support Panchayati Raj Institutions and Rural Local Bodies in Goa, including a substantial amount of ₹15.77 crores as the 2nd instalment of Tied Grants for the financial year 2023–24, directed towards sanitation, maintenance of ODF status, and water supply provisions in local districts and panchayats. Additionally, ₹2.84 crores from the 1st instalment has also been released.
