Highlighting India’s initiatives like the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, Nadda called for sound regulation and international collaboration to ensure equitable and ethical AI deployment. The Strategy for AI in Healthcare for India (SAHI) was introduced as the first comprehensive AI strategy from the Global South, aiming to guide India’s healthcare system in a people-centric manner.
