Union Health Minister Reviews Dengue and Malaria Situation

Union Health Minister Shri J P Nadda conducted a review meeting on September 10, 2025, to assess the current situation of Dengue and Malaria in India. He urged states to intensify preventive measures and community awareness, especially during the high-risk period. An advisory was issued to Chief Ministers to remain vigilant and prepare action plans within 20 days. India has made significant progress in reducing malaria cases and aims for elimination by 2030, while also addressing the ongoing challenges of Dengue outbreaks.
