Union Minister Assures Fertilizer Supply to Telangana Farmers

Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, met with Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to discuss fertilizer availability in the state. The Chief Minister requested uninterrupted urea supply for the peak Kharif season, and the Minister assured support to meet farmers' demands. Concerns were raised about excessive urea consumption, with a 21% increase noted in Rabi 2024-25 compared to the previous year. The PM PRANAM scheme was highlighted to promote balanced fertilizer use and sustainable farming practices.
