Union Minister Chairs Wildlife Institute of India's 27th AGM

The Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Shri Bhupender Yadav, presided over the 27th Annual General Meeting of the Wildlife Institute of India Society in Dehradun. Major discussions included the approval of the Wildlife Institute of India's annual report and audited accounts for 2024-25, along with reviewing the institute’s achievements in conservation efforts, including Cheetah conservation and breeding initiatives for the Great Indian Bustard. The meeting also highlighted the importance of technology and the establishment of the National River Research Centre. Plans for the institute's future were discussed with an intent to consult former directors for future visionaries.
