Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Unveils 55 Literary Works in Classic Indian Languages

Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister for Education, released 55 literary works in classical Indian languages, including Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Odia, Tamil, and Indian Sign Language, in New Delhi. The event, part of a national initiative to highlight India's linguistic heritage, included works developed by the Centres of Excellence for Classical Languages under the Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) and the Central Institute of Classical Tamil (CICT). The effort aims to nurture cultural pride and further integrate these languages into educational systems. The launch also aligns with the vision of India's National Education Policy 2020, which supports education in Indian languages, and emphasizes inclusivity by featuring works in Sign Language, including interpretations of the Tirukkural.
