Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya is set to inaugurate a nationwide free annual health check-up initiative for workers aged 40 and above on May 7, 2026, under new Labour Codes. This program will be conducted through ESIC hospitals across India, ensuring comprehensive healthcare for workers, aligned with the government's Shramev Jayate framework, aimed at dignifying labour and enhancing social security. The initiative will include mandatory check-ups for high-risk workers to promote preventive healthcare and early diagnosis.
