Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy Inaugurates SIAT 2026 in Pune

Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel, Shri H.D. Kumaraswamy, opened the Symposium on International Automotive Technology (SIAT) 2026 in Pune, orchestrated by the Automotive Research Association of India. SIAT 2026, coinciding with ARAI’s Diamond Jubilee, accentuates innovation and sustainable mobility in India. The Minister highlighted India's commitment to electric mobility under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision, supported by government initiatives like the FAME-II and PM E-DRIVE schemes. These efforts are part of India's move towards net-zero emissions by 2070 and aim to boost domestic auto manufacturing and EV infrastructure.
