Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Shri Manohar Lal has launched the Operational Guidelines for the Urban Challenge Fund (UCF) in New Delhi. The UCF is designed to catalyse significant urban investments, focusing on Tier-II and Tier-III cities, with a total central assistance of ₹1 lakh crore. The initiative aims to mobilize ₹4 lakh crore in investments through market-based financing and will support projects across various sectors including urban mobility, water, and sanitation.
