Union Minister Nitin Gadkari Emphasizes Highway Quality in Jharkhand and Uttarakhand
Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, conducted comprehensive reviews of over 3,200 km of National Highways in Jharkhand and more than 4,000 km in Uttarakhand to assess their quality and maintenance. These evaluations, prompted by feedback from media and social platforms, included discussions with key stakeholders such as the National Highways Authority of India and the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited. Emphasizing the need for timely maintenance, high-quality standards, and modern technological adoption, Shri Gadkari directed enhanced execution and quality assurance. Additionally, he advised preparations for the monsoon to prevent disruptions and ensure safety.
