Union Minister Promises 2 Crore Lakhpati Didis by August 15

Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that the government aims to have 2 crore Lakhpati Didis (women earning over ₹10 lakh annually) by August 15. During his visit to Gujarat, he released success stories of 50 Lakhpati Didis and emphasized the importance of women's economic empowerment and participation in the workforce. He highlighted that 1.5 crore women have already achieved this status and encouraged further support for women in rural areas to enhance their skills and economic independence.
