Update on Avian Influenza at Delhi Zoo
The National Zoological Park (NZP) reported no new bird mortality related to avian influenza. Intensive sanitation and bio-security measures are in place to protect the health of birds, animals, and staff. WHO officials visited the zoo to assess public health measures, and a surveillance team collected samples for analysis. The NZP remains vigilant in following guidelines to contain the disease.
