Upgradation of Planetarium at Kavaratti Island
The Lakshadweep Administration's Science and Technology Department has proposed a phased upgradation of the planetarium at Kavaratti Island, including modernization of its projection system, computers, and software. The first phase is estimated to cost approximately Rs. 2.12 crore. Additionally, outreach programs are being conducted to promote science and technology among students aged 10-17 in Lakshadweep.
