The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has successfully conducted a pilot program using AI-enabled facial recognition technology for candidate verification during the NDA & NA II and CDS II examinations held on September 14, 2025. This initiative, in collaboration with the National e-Governance Division, aims to enhance the integrity and efficiency of the examination process, reducing verification time to 8-10 seconds per candidate.
