The Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration and Research (AMD) has reported the establishment of 4,33,800 tonnes of in-situ U3O8 resource across 47 uranium deposits in various Indian states. Notably, the Jaduguda uranium deposit, operational since 1967, has seen an increase of 26,437 tonnes in U-oxide resources due to recent explorations, potentially extending the mine's operational life significantly.
