The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) is leveraging data from the Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) to analyze employment trends, vocational training, and labor force participation. This data aids in evidence-based policymaking and assessing the impact of skill development initiatives. A Core Group has been established to enhance employment data collection and reporting, involving representatives from various key ministries. Additionally, Steering Committees and Technical Advisory Groups have been formed to review survey methodologies and frameworks.
