Vigyan Dhara Scheme Supports Start-Ups and Research Institutions
The Vigyan Dhara scheme, effective from January 16, 2025, merges three previous schemes to support start-ups and research institutions in India. It has provided seed funding to 72 start-ups through 36 Technology Business Incubators (TBIs). The scheme has seen significant financial allocations, with a total of Rs. 1755.75 crore allocated and Rs. 1256.31 crore utilized as of August 12, 2025. The number of beneficiaries varies by state, with Uttar Pradesh having the highest at 13,195.
