West Bengal's Limited Participation in National Cooperative Initiatives
The Ministry of Cooperation of India has launched multiple initiatives to enhance the cooperative sector nationwide, including the computerization and establishment of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) across India. Despite these efforts being uniformly available to all states, West Bengal's participation in these national programs remains significantly lower compared to other states.
