Wholesale Price Index in India for June 2025

The Ministry of Commerce & Industry reported a provisional annual inflation rate of (-) 0.13% for June 2025, attributed to declines in food articles, mineral oils, and basic metals. The Wholesale Price Index (WPI) showed a month-over-month decrease of (-) 0.19% compared to May 2025. Key sectors such as primary articles and fuel & power experienced significant price changes, with the food index reflecting a decrease in inflation from 1.72% in May to (-0.26%) in June.
