Workshop on Aadhaar Enabled Payment Services for Cooperative Banks

Dr. Ashish Kumar Bhutani, Secretary of the Ministry of Cooperation, participated in a workshop aimed at onboarding Cooperative Banks to Aadhaar-enabled Payment Services. This initiative, aligned with Prime Minister Modi's vision of 'Sahkar se Samriddhi', seeks to empower cooperative banks, enhance financial inclusion in rural areas, and streamline digital services through a new UIDAI framework. The framework will cover 34 State Cooperative Banks and 351 District Central Cooperative Banks, facilitating last-mile banking and digital inclusion.
