Workshop on Measuring the Knowledge Economy
A brainstorming workshop was conducted by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation to develop a framework for measuring the knowledge economy. The workshop, held on September 30, 2025, involved stakeholders from government, academia, industry, and policy think tanks. It focused on creating a taxonomy of knowledge products and addressing data source challenges. Additionally, a Technical Advisory Group was established to identify key components and methodologies for evaluating knowledge-based economic activities.
