Workshop on Ocean Accounts Development in Kochi
The Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoSPI) is organizing a workshop on August 29, 2025, in Kochi, Kerala, aimed at building capacity among coastal states for developing Ocean Accounts. The workshop will facilitate the creation of national-level Ocean Accounts in line with international obligations under the SEEA framework. It will include participation from various stakeholders and feature discussions on ecological and economic data integration for sustainable ocean management.
