World Lion Day 2025 Celebrations in Gujarat

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change will celebrate World Lion Day 2025 on August 10 at Barda Wildlife Sanctuary, Gujarat. The event will be attended by Union Minister Shri Bhupender Yadav and Gujarat CM Shri Bhupendra Patel, along with other dignitaries. A ₹180 crore wildlife conservation initiative will be launched, and students from 11 districts will participate virtually.
