Representatives from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana attended, focusing on efficient management of Waqf properties. The UMEED portal, launched in June 2025, mandates Waqf Boards to upload property details within six months. States requested regional language support, which officials confirmed would be implemented. The meeting aimed to modernize Waqf administration and enhance the developmental potential of Waqf properties for minority communities.
