10,000 Farmer Producer Organisations Established under Central Scheme

The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has successfully established 10,000 Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) under the Central Sector Scheme. As of January 1, 2026, a total of 56.32 lakh farmers are registered under this initiative, with 21.96 lakh being women farmers. The scheme also highlights the inclusion of 1,175 FPOs comprising exclusively women members.
